URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Yesterday, D&D Missionary Homes received a donation of a Chevy Astro Van! We have been praying for a while regarding an extended van for Missionary Ministries. Although this is not an extended van, it actually has more room than the one we were hoping for. Last night, Tom checked it out and took it for test drives. This morning, he will be going in to see the general manager of D&D regarding the purchase of this van! Please pray for the negotiations of this, for a reasonable price, and favor with God and with man IF THIS IS THE VAN WE ARE TO HAVE!!!…”
At noon hour, I sent the following:
AMAZING ANSWER to URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
This morning at approximately 9:30 am, Tom spoke with the general manager here at D&D. When Tom prayed about this offer on the van, he felt that God was directing him to first ask that it be given to the ministry, then to offer different amounts after that. He presented the situation this way and the amazing happened!! D&D GAVE this vehicle FREE to Missionary Ministries! And it doesn’t stop there…just this morning when I asked coworkers to pray and believe with us about this, they did. After we had finished our prayer time (MORE A TIME OF PRAISE FOR WHAT GOD HAD ALREADY DONE IN THIS SITUATION), one of them stopped me and told me that she and her husband had been praying about a van that they need to use in the NEAR future. (They had borrowed one once before, but found it very cramped taking all their luggage to the airport). She gave me the dates that they need this van and so we booked it out to them in faith BEFORE it was actually ours!! NOW IT IS ALREADY BOOKED OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME! THEN…6 more prayer warriors joined this prayer team as of 8:30 a.m. today!! Indeed, GOD IS TRULY AWESOME and faithful and true to His Word. Eph. 3:20 says”….HE IS ABLE to do superabundantly above what we dare ask, think, dream or imagine…” (AMPLIFIED BIBLE, emphasis mine). HE CERTAINLY IS JEHOVAH JIREH!!…”
As you can see from the above testimony, we cannot say enough about God’s faithfulness to us at Missionary Ministries. And we would like to take this opportunity to share with you what your support – prayerfully, financially, donating vehicles, etc., etc., etc. means to this ministry!!
At the writing of this newsletter, we have 9 vehicles on the road available for loan to missionaries and other Christian workers. God has blessed us, through you, with a Nissan Sentra, a Toyota Camry, a Buick Regal, a Buick Skylark, a 15 passenger Dodge Van, a 7 passenger Plymouth Voyageur Van, a Nissan Altima, a Pontiac Grand Prix, and the Chevy Astro Van mentioned above which seats 8. We have 4 other vehicles that are sitting in our parking lot waiting for a decision as to what God would have us do with them. One of them is a Chevy Blazer, which will be put on the road at a later date.
The need for these vehicles has been and still is tremendous and now we want to share with you, through excerpts from notes and letters on our “testimonial” page, how you have been a blessing to so many people!!
