Ministry Information
This is a God-inspired faith-based ministry which was started in November, 2002 when Harold Allen donated his ’92 Nissan to Tom Wilson who directs this ministry. Since then, other vehicles have been added. In the future, others will also be added as God supplies. All vehicles are owned and insured by Missionary Ministries. These vehicles are loaned out and are in no way to be thought of as rentals.
Duration of Use
At the present time, a person may apply to use a vehicle for up to one month. If needed for a longer period of time, an extension may be granted at the discretion of the director of the ministry. Please note: ALL DRIVERS must be 25 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive in the United States.
Ministry Support
There is no designated charge to the person using the vehicle. Each person is asked to seek the Lord to see if He would have them help this ministry with a monetary gift to help maintain the vehicles. We also ask that they would seek the Lord to find out if there would be any other part that they are to play in providing for this ministry. It may be prayer support, gasoline, ongoing financial aid or whatever God lays on their hearts.
Other ministry supporters may want to donate vehicles, provide finances and/or help with vehicle repair or maintenance. This ministry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and receipts will be issued upon request for IRS purposes.
Ministry Vision
As God supplies, either through donations or providing funds to purchase other vehicles, the goal of this ministry is to be able to supply all the requests for vehicles and increase the length of time these may be used. At the present time, our vehicles are for use in the State of Florida only. However, when contacts are established with churches, other organizations, and repair facilities willing to aid this ministry in states other than Florida, we will allow vehicles to be taken to these states.
